Did You Know...

As a homeowner, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the water and sewer lines which are located on your property. The lines connect to the RWA owned water main and the municipal-owned sewer main, which are both located in the street (see diagram at right).

TelephoneOver time, unpreventable conditions such as strangling tree roots, uneven ground settling, the age of the pipe or even general wear and tear—can cause water lines to break and sewer lines to become obstructed.

Our water line (PipeSafe) and sewer line (PipeSafe Plus) programs are low cost emergency protection plans that protect homeowners from unexpected repairs to either service line. In urgent situations, service is what counts. With the Regional Water Authority, you gain peace of mind, if something goes wrong with either your water or sewer lines, you’re protected.

Sewer line protection service is not available to homeowners with septic systems.
