PipeSafe℠

“With one phone call to RWA, my problem was resolved in a timely manner.”

What do you do when the water or sewer line from the street into your house breaks? If you have one of the Regional Water Authority’s underground service line protection programs, all you have to do is make one phone call.

RWA offers two programs: PipeSafe Emergency Protection Water RepairSM and PipeSafe Emergency Protection Sewer RepairSM. Both programs provide low cost emergency protection that will give you quick, reliable assistance. If your underground line leaks, breaks or gets blocked, we will coordinate all phases of the repair. Each protection program in which you are enrolled offers up to $5,000 annually in protection.

With the RWA emergency service line protection programs, fast reliable help is at the other end of the phone. As a homeowner, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the underground water and sewer lines which are located on your property. Those lines connect to the RWA-owned water main and the municipal-owned sewer main, which are both located in the street.Over time, many conditions such as strangling tree roots, uneven ground settling, the age of the pipe or even general wear and tear, can cause water lines to break and sewer lines to become obstructed. Our water line and sewer line programs are low cost emergency protection plans that protect homeowners from unexpected repairs to either service line.

In urgent situations, service is what counts. With the Regional Water Authority, you can relax; if something goes wrong with either your water or sewer lines, you’re protected.

PSLOGOS 01The PipeSafe Emergency Protection Water Repair plan provides for the repair or replacement (up to $5,000 annually) of your leaking underground water service pipe that is 1-1/2 inch diameter or smaller and that runs between the curb stop and the water meter when the water meter is inside the dwelling structure, or the curb stop and the foundation wall in the case of meter vaults. At the time of repair or replacement, the protection plan also protects the curb valve, curb box, curb box cover, meter vault box, meter vault covers, meter vault frost covers, the valve immediately before the water meter for standard in-residence meters, and valves immediately before and after the meter for meter vault meters.
