The Purchasing Department

The Authority’s legislation requires that purchases for supplies and services over $50,000.00 be made through the Public Bid process.

Interested vendors and suppliers who would like copies of these bid specifications should contact the Purchasing Department at the Regional Water Authority. Bid specifications will be mailed, or the vendor may visit Authority headquarters to pick them up. Bid specifications will not be faxed, and are not available at this time on this website although they may be in the future.

We also advertise all our Public Bids and Requests for Proposals in the Legal Ad section of the New Haven Register newspaper.

Bid specifications may be picked up at the Regional Water Authority, 90 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT 06511 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Interested bidders shall come to the lobby at the main entrance and inform the receptionist what bid specifications they would like to pick up. There is no charge for bid specifications unless stated. Bid proposals must be returned to the Authority in a sealed envelope no later than the time and date that is specified for the public bid opening. Bid proposals may be mailed, or hand-delivered to the receptionist.
