2008 Recreation Photo Contest Winners
In 2008, we conducted our ninth photo contest for recreation permit holders. Everyone was invited to submit up to five photographs in one of five categories: Wildlife, Plants, Water Scenes, General Scenes, and People Recreating. The only stipulation was that the photograph had to be taken at any Regional Water Authority recreation area by a permit holder. Members of our boards judged the photos. Prizes were awarded for fist, second, third and fourth place for each category. Winners were announced on January 14, 2009 at our annual recreation meeting. Each first-place winner received a $100 gift certificate. Other finalists received $20 gift certificates.
