The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) voted to elect the Regional Water Authority’s (RWA) Senior Vice President of Employee Services, Jeanine F. Reckdenwald, to the Board of Directors. As a member of the Board, Reckdenwald will work with local business leaders to encourage inclusive economic growth throughout the region.
“The Greater New Haven region has been a bright spot in Connecticut’s economy for some time now, and I am excited to begin working with the Chamber to encourage further growth in our region and the state,” said Jeanine F. Reckdenwald. “I am very appreciative to the members of the Chamber who honored me with their support. The RWA has been a partner in economic development for many years now, and by continuing to work with local business leaders, I believe we can build a stronger community, economy and state.”
Jeanine F. Reckdenwald joined the RWA in August 2018 as Senior Vice President of Employee Services. She is responsible for the RWA’s talent acquisition, employee relations and engagement, training and development, and workplace safety and security. She also has oversight for the company’s Communications and Outreach team as well as the RWA police force. Jeanine came to the RWA from RBC Bearings, an international manufacturer, where she served as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Human Resources & Support Services at Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group. Jeanine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
Throughout her career, Jeanine has been responsible for driving performance through people strategy, organizational effectiveness, learning and development and a values-based work environment. She has more than 30 years of professional leadership experience in labor relations, developing top talent and building more aligned and engaged organizations. Jeanine works closely with the RWA’s leadership team to assure the company continues to advance the business, engage employees, recruit and retain top talent, and further embrace an inclusive, collaborative culture at the RWA.
