CodeRED allows us to send important alerts by phone call, text message, email, and social media when there is a water emergency or other urgent situation. The system can reach large numbers of customers within minutes, helping ensure timely information gets to those who need it most. For security, only authorized officials can send CodeRED notifications.
Make Sure You're Registered
CodeRED automatically includes publicly available landline phone numbers. To receive alerts on your cell phone, by text message, or by email, we encourage you to register your contact information.
When you sign up, you can also select your preferred language so you receive notifications in the language of your choice.
Even if your community already uses CodeRED for other local alerts, we recommend registering to receive notifications that are specific to your drinking water service.
