RWA Partners with Local Preservationist to Rebuild Historic Home in Orange

The RWA sold a home in Orange, built in the late 1800s or early 1900s, to Wess Corjuc, a local preservationist, with the condition that the historic home be preserved as much as possible. Structural issues led to the home needing to be deconstructed, but it is in the process of being rebuilt, using some of the original home's materials, so that the exterior looks exactly as it did when inhabited by the Alling Family in the 19th century.

WTNH joined the RWA and local anglers to kick off fishing season at Lake Saltonstall. The RWA has stocked its lakes with thousands of fish and invites Connecticut anglers of all ages to pick up their recreation permit and join us for a day of fishing from the shore or even take one of our boats out on the lake.

Amateur Photographers Awarded In RWA Recreation Photo Contest

Five talented photographers took home their first-place prizes at the annual South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority (RWA) recreation permit holder meeting held on April 11. Nineteen amateur photographers competed in five photo categories. Judges reviewed over 65 photos taken at RWA recreation areas before choosing five first-place photos and 15 runners-up.
