Our water systems – underground, out of sight and out of mind – work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to bring reliable, high-quality water to the region.
We invest millions of dollars annually in infrastructure improvement projects to upgrade our water systems to provide for and protect the water supply and to meet drinking water standards. These infrastructure investments improve water quality, service reliability and water flows throughout our system.
Infrastructure work resumed June 1, 2020. Construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. See below for the projects scheduled for 2020 and details about the section of main to be replaced and the start date. All work will involve the replacement of water service lines in the public space, as needed, and the replacement of fire hydrants and valves.
